Use of the App

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not misuse, modify, or attempt to disrupt the app.

No Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the app's reliability, accuracy, or availability.

Paid Subscriptions & Purchases

BriefTime offers optional paid subscription tiers ("Pro" and "Plus") that unlock additional features and capabilities within the App.

1. Billing and Payments

All purchases, payments, and billing for BriefTime Pro and Plus are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Account at confirmation of purchase.

2. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless auto-renew is turned off or the subscription is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

3. Managing and Canceling Subscriptions

You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your account settings on the respective app store after purchase:

• iOS / Apple: Open Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
• Android / Google Play: Open Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

Cancellations take effect at the end of the active billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

4. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that tier, where applicable.

5. Refunds

All refund requests are processed directly by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective purchase and refund policies. BriefTime does not directly issue refunds for in-app purchases.

6. Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing for paid plans at any time. Any price changes will be communicated in advance through the App or via email, giving you the opportunity to cancel before the new rate applies.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BriefTime and its developers are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from your use of the app or inability to use it.

Intellectual Property

All app content, trademarks, and materials are owned by BriefTime unless otherwise stated. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.

Changes to the App or Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We may also update these terms periodically. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
